Our School - All about Port Hedland

Port Hedland is the second largest town in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, with a population of approximately 14,000, including the satellite town of South Hedland, 18 km away. It is also the site of the highest tonnage port in Australia.
If you enjoy camping and fishing, there are lots of beautiful spots to explore, including The De Grey River, Cape Keraudren Reserve, Eighty Mile Beach, Karajini National Park and Point Samson. The town of Broome is a favourite get-away spot, just a 6 hour drive away and the City of Karratha is a two hour trip South, with Whim Creek Pub, Roebourne Jail and Cossack Museum, providing interesting stops along the way.
The town is serviced by two shopping centres, as well as two aquatic centres, various sporting facilities and a modern and well equipped Health Campus. We have an International Airport, with direct flights to Bali, Melbourne and Brisbane offered on a weekly basis.
